Day 3 - Supernatural Favor (Part 1)
Day 3: The Fry Tax and the Generous Father
Reading: Psalm 24:1; Luke 12:15-21; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Devotional: Nobody has to teach a toddler to say mine. Selfishness comes pre-installed in the human operating system. Yet Psalm 24:1 reminds us that the earth and everything in it already belongs to God. We are not owners, we are managers of what He has entrusted to us. When God invites generosity, He is not reaching over to take something from you out of need. He is inviting you into a moment of shared connection, a chance to demonstrate that your trust is placed in the source rather than the supply. Generosity is not a loss. It is a declaration of faith.
Reflection: Are you holding any area of your life with a clenched fist, guarding it from God's reach?
Practical Application: Practice one intentional act of generosity today, with your time, your money, or your attention, and notice how it affects your sense of peace and anxiety.
