Day 5 - The Chameleon (Part 1) Standing Out for Christ

Reading: 2 Corinthians 3:18 and Ephesians 2:10

Devotional: Second Corinthians 3:18 describes a process of being transformed from one degree of glory to another as we behold the Lord. Transformation is not an event. It is a daily, ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in a surrendered life. Ephesians 2:10 reminds you that you are God's workmanship, created for good works that He prepared in advance for you to walk in. You were never designed to fit into the world's mold. You were crafted as an original. Every time you conform to the world's patterns, you are trading your God-given identity for a counterfeit. Standing out for Christ is not about being strange. It is about being authentically who God created you to be.

Practical Application: Write a brief statement describing who you believe God has called you to be. Pray over it daily this week, and identify one specific way you will live out that identity rather than conforming to the expectations of those around you.
