Day 4 - Supernatural Favor (Part 1)
Day 4: The Principle of the First
Reading: Exodus 13:1-2; Proverbs 3:9-10; Matthew 6:33
Devotional: The principle of first-fruits was never about farming. It was a physical demonstration of faith. When a farmer gave the first lamb or the first basket of grain, he had no guarantee that a second or third would follow. Giving the first required genuine trust in the Provider. Giving the leftovers requires nothing. God consistently honors the posture of the heart that places Him first, not because He needs the resources, but because that act of faith aligns you with the supernatural current of His blessing. What is withheld from God is ultimately lost. What is surrendered to Him is multiplied.
Reflection: Is God receiving your first, your first moments of the day, your first portion of your income, your best energy, or is He receiving what remains after everything else is satisfied?
Practical Application: For the next seven days, begin each morning with five minutes of prayer before checking your phone. Give God the first moments and observe how it shapes the rest of your day.
